Your team is organising a farewell dinner for a coworker who is retiring. You want to invite a colleague from another department who worked closely with him.

Write an email of 150-200 words. Read the situation, then write to the person named. Cover every required point, keep the tone appropriate, and organise your email into short paragraphs. You have 27 minutes for both writing tasks in the real test; aim for about 15 minutes here.
