What separates a 9+ answer (our observations)
- Every main point has a reason and a specific example, not just a statement.
- Vocabulary is precise: "commute", "reliable", "budget-friendly" instead of "go", "good", "cheap".
- Linking is varied and natural: "on top of that", "the main reason is", "that said".
- The answer has a clear ending and uses most of the speaking time without rushing.
A practice routine
Record one task, read your transcript, and underline every vague word. Re-record the same task replacing those words. Repeating a prompt this way is one of the fastest ways to raise your vocabulary and coherence.
