CELPIP Mock Test: Full Timed Practice

A mock test is the closest you can get to test day without booking one. Take the four skills in the official order, use the real timers, and review your results afterwards to see which skill needs work.

Run a full mock in exam order

The CELPIP-General test is taken in one sitting on a computer in this order:

  • Listening — about 46–55 minutes (practice task + 6 parts). Start with Listening Test 1.
  • Reading — about 43–56 minutes (4 parts). Continue with Reading Test 1.
  • Writing — about 53 minutes (2 tasks). Then Writing Task 1 and Task 2.
  • Speaking — about 15 minutes (practice task + 8 tasks). Finish with the Speaking tasks.

Mock test rules we recommend

These rules are our own advice to make the mock realistic: don't pause, don't replay Listening audio (our player only lets you play each clip once before you submit), write directly in the text box without a spell checker, and speak your Speaking answers out loud rather than in your head.

After the mock

Compare your estimated levels across the four skills. A gap of two or more levels between skills is a sign to focus your next week of practice on the weakest one. Your free account dashboard tracks this automatically and only names a weak area after repeated evidence.
